THE DOCTOR
Dr. Francis was born in South Plainfield, NJ. He attended Drexel University and earned a degree of B.S. in Clinical Nutrition, while participating in four years of Division 1 Baseball. Upon graduation, he achieved certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a fitness trainer and became the Assistant Fitness Manager at Philadelphia Sports Club in Society Hill.
While still in school, Dr. Francis took over 300 hours of graduate courses (outside of the Palmer Chiropractic Curriculum) and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP), and a Certified Active Release Technique (ART) & Applied Kinesiology (AK) Practitioner. Dr. Francis also completed the physiotherapy and adjunctive procedures curriculum at Palmer and passed the Physiotherapy exam issued by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE).
Upon graduation, Dr. Francis completed over 100 more hours of training to become a Certified Graston Technique (GT) Provider, a Certified Kinesio-Taping Practitioner (CKTP), achieved his Diplomate in the American Academy of Medical-Legal Professionals (DAAMLP), and has become Certified in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology..
Dr. Francis combines his knowledge of chiropractic, nutrition, rehabilitation, and soft tissue modalities to carry out individualized treatment plans for his patients.
